Excerpts of A Modern Prophet Answers Your Key Questions about Life

DIVINE LOVE AND HUMAN LOVE

What is the difference between the love one has for one's mate and the love Soul has for God?
Is one sort of love better than the other? And is it still possible to fall in love with someone
     after you reach God Consciousness?

The highest love is a pure love for God.
A pure love for one's mate is the same as a pure love for God. But, frankly, pure love is a rarity - whether for God or for mate.
"Falling in love" usually means falling into karma. Karma - good, bad or neutral - sets the tone for a relationship. For example, some couples love to fight.
The attraction between people of a high state of consciousness is a mutual desire to serve God and life. Such a couple join forces to help each other reach even higher stattes of being.
A high, pure love is sweet indeed.

SNOWBALL TECHNIQUE

I've read about the Snowball technique. In your mind's eye you roll all your problems into a big snowball, throw it into the ECK stream, that spiritual force flowing from God, and watch your snowball dissolve.
What is the purpose of this exercise?

The Snowball technique is for those times when you don't have conscious awareness of the Light and Sound of God. Use this technique when problems are a burden and you don't know how to get rid of them.
Such spiritual techniques are tried-and-true methods that Soul can use in It's spiritual development. When the work is routine and everything is running without problems, you may not think you need them. But when something goes wrong, the first thing you do is reach into your bag of tools.
You can't outgrow such spiritual exercises.

ARE DREAMS REAL?

Are the people and places in my dreams real? Are other people having the same dream as I am?

A dream is a real experience. As Soul, a spiritual being and a divine spark of God, you can (and do) have hundreds of experiences going on side by side at different levels. So does everyone else.
Here is a way to understand the variety of inner experiences: it's as if Soul experiences what hundreds of people in a town do on a certain day. The mind, meanwhile, can recall only a few experiences at a time.
You may remember a certain inner experience with someone on the inner planes because of its spiritual importance for you. However, the other person will likely remember a completely different experience, because your needs are different.
In comparison to Soul, our mind holds only a few memories at a time. We remember those that mean the most to us spiritually.
Only rarely do the spiritual needs of two people exactly coincide. When they do, both dreamers will remember the same dream. However, their different levels of consciousness will give each a special view of what actually happened in the dream state.
